Vasquez Rocks is a wonder. This shot was taken during a Waxing Gibbius moon, which means it was very bright. The location had an other worldly feel to it.

A rough summer trying to get a Bortle 1 dark sky region and milky way shot. I settled for this at the camp sight surrounded by pines at the Mount Pinos camp site.
